That would disengage the security locks, wouldn't it, sir?" - Vepp to Chief Engineer SalenVepp was a male human who served on the Republic transport Esseles during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. When the ship was attacked, Vepp and his superior Salen were trapped in the engineering deck with the rest of the engineering crew. A team of Republic operatives was attempting to repel the the invaders, and Vepp suggested to reset the reactor to release the security lockdown without thinking about depressurizing the engineering section if they did so. His suggestion was countered by Salen, who proposed to shut down all of the secondary conduits to get the bridge open.The operatives agreed with Salen, which ensured the survival of Vepp and the rest of the engineers.
